As part of The Real Pressie Club initiative, we launched our Give Kris Kringle the Boot campaign in October 2009. This campaign invited companies to ditch their Kris Kringle gift giving and instead give to the Kids at MacKillop.
The campaign came to a climax in early December with a "protest rally" in the Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne, with two of Santa's helpers distributing free Give Kris Kringle the Boot Christmas Cards. The event was captured on video (courtesy of MWC Media Pty Ltd) and incorporated into a web-based campaign as well as being uploaded to You Tube, Veoh, Metacafe, Yahoo Video and My Space.
