Community and Corporate Supporters

Businesses, schools, parishes and community groups continue to show they care for children, young people and families in their communities by supporting our work with financial and in-kind donations.

To find out how you can join them and partner with us to help children in your community to thrive, call our Community Relations Team on 1300 218 935.

We are particularly grateful to those who help multiply donations to our Paws4Kids matched giving day, inspiring others to give by tripling their donations to this special campaign helping at-risk kids to regain a love of learning.

Corporate supporters

Petstock Foundation

Petstock Foundation has generously supported our Paws4Kids campaign since 2019, so we can grow our Paw Pals program, using therapy dogs to help children who’ve been through trauma to return to education.

Bob Stewart of Kew

A long-term supporter of MacKillop Family Services, Bob Stewart of Kew shares our commitment to educating children.

Community supporters

Parade College

Students at this Edmund Rice school chose MacKillop Family Services as their charity to support through fundraising in 2019 and 2020, as they wanted to address social justice issues here in Australia. Our most generous supporter of Paws4Kids, Parade College students have also taken part in our Social Justice days for schools and supported our Foster Care Crisis Appeal in 2020.

Open discussion about the constant apprehension, learning difficulties and stoic mentality of marginalised children has made me immediately grateful for the support networks in the community and struck a heartstring, feeling powerless and not doing enough to assist in the poignant difficulties of similar-aged children.

– Dylan Tran-Ngo, Aspiring Prefect, Parade College (2019)

Sisters of St Joseph

One of our founding congregations, the Sisters of St Joseph made a generous contribution in early 2020 so MacKillop could deliver Stormbirds – a program supporting children and young people to identify and respond to significant life events and disasters – to more communities recovering from the devastating bushfires. They have also supported us to expand the Paw Pals program across Greater Melbourne.

Toorak Ecumenical Churches Opportunity Shop

For three years, Toorak Ecumenical Churches Opportunity Shop has generously supported young people in our residential homes to prepare for independence.

Loyola College

Secondary students at Loyola College’s MacKillop House fundraise for MacKillop Family Services each year. This year, senior students visited MacKillop to learn more about our foster and residential care programs, and understanding the challenges facing these young people inspired them to raise more.

Catholic Women's League Australia - Parramatta

After hosting our local Foster Care Manager as a Guest Speaker, the ladies of the Catholic Women's League Australia – Parramatta generously raised over $2,500 to support local foster carers providing safe homes for children.

Salesian College

Regular supporters of our Christmas Gift Appeal, Salesian College recognised the challenges we faced in 2020, unable to accept in-kind gifts due to COVID risks, and made a significant cash donation to ensure the kids in our care could share in the joy of Christmas despite the challenges of the pandemic.
