Inclusion and Community Participation Support assists children with a disability to access mainstream, out-of-school hours care with an aim to transition to independent participation.

We work closely with all relevant people involved in a participant’s life to gain a thorough understanding of the supports required to achieve the long-term goals of an independent and susitainable placement. Facilitators build partnerships with out-of-school hours service providers, children and their families to provide pathways to recreational options within their own communities.

What we can offer:

  • Individualised assessment and recreation support plans
  • resources, equipment, training and support workers in order to facilitate inclusion
  • consultation and support to out-of-school hours service providers
  • advocacy and support to families who are attempting to access mainstream recreational opportunities within their communities

  • Children with a disability
  • Aged up to 12 years
  • Residing in Melton, Maribyrnong, Moonee Valley, Brimbank, Hobsons Bay or Wyndham
