Learning from Past Practice: Maintaining Client Records and Providing a Service to Adults who as Children were in Foster Care (1999)

Presentation to the 1999 International Foster Care Organisation Conference.

The material for today's address has been drawn from my practice experience as the Coordinator of Heritage and Information Services of MacKillop Family Services. MacKillop Family Services was established on 1 July 1997 and continues the works of seven child and family welfare agencies previously managed by three Catholic religious congregations: the Christian Brothers, the Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of St Joseph.
