MacKillop Family Services is urgently seeking compassionate foster carers in Nowra and surrounds to provide a safe, nurturing home for a primary school–aged boy.
Josh* is bright, social and enjoys everyday childhood activities; he especially loves playing with his race car toys. Like all children, Josh needs stability, care and the chance to grow in a supportive family environment. Right now, he needs foster carers who can offer consistency, patience and a willingness to support him through this important stage of his life.
“Foster carers play an incredible role in a child’s world,” said Patricia Maher, NSW Carer Recruitment and Development Manager for MacKillop. “For Josh, having a stable and caring home as soon as possible will make a meaningful difference to his wellbeing and future.”
MacKillop Family Services provides comprehensive training, financial support and 24/7 professional guidance to foster carers. You do not need to be married or own your home to become a foster carer: single people, couples, families and retirees are all encouraged to enquire.
Local foster carers are especially sought to help this child remain connected to his community, school and support networks.
“You don’t need to be perfect, just ready to care,” Ms. Maher said. “Opening your home could change a child’s life.”
