MacKillop are one of the largest providers of therapeutic residential care to young people in the state. Last year our residential homes provided care for more than 180 young people who could no longer live at home.

Our Victorian out-of-home care services include:

We provide intensive outreach case management and family support to assist young people to reengage with support networks.

Targeted care packages (TCPs) are an allocation of funding attached to a specific child or young person. A TCP is based on an assessment of that child’s needs and is available for as long as the child needs. It enables the transition of a child from residential care into an alternative living arrangement.

We also operate a program called Way Out There. This program provides opportunities for young people in out-of-home care to develop independent living skills.

Our Victorian services operate throughout Melbourne; Geelong and surrounding areas; and from Warrnambool through to the South Australian border.

MacKillop is currently recruiting and training foster carers in these areas.

If you want to positively impact a child’s life as a foster carer call us on 1300 791 677 or enquire online.
