MacKillop supports children with an NDIS Plan (birth-14 years) with a disability and/or developmental delay, and their families who live in rural NSW.

Our therapy assistants work closely with families and their nominated Allied Health Professional to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life.

We support families with the information and skills to assist their child to develop to their potential and be a part of family and community life.

Our services can be provided in a variety of settings including:

  • centre-based
  • at home
  • early childhood centres (eg: preschool, day care)
  • at school
  • within community settings.

Our support includes:

  • home visits
  • information on special needs/disabilities /therapy ideas and other family services
  • support to refer to therapists for assessments and therapy programs
  • guidance with assessments and reports
  • regular therapy sessions to help the child’s development and learning
  • assistance with transition to preschool and school
  • ongoing support at preschool and school
  • support with community inclusion

This service is available for children 0-14 years with an NDIS package.
