Celebrating our schools

Multiple years in the making, in August 2023, the MacKillop Education Caulfield Campus officially launched, after first opening its doors in 2020.

The COVID-19 induced delay finally ended with the campus officially on show in a grand opening featuring students, parents and esteemed guests.

The school was launched with the generous help of Dr Michelle Ananda-Rajah MP, Member for Higgins and MacKillop Family Services CEO Dr Robyn Miller.

It was a wonderful opportunity to hear from students and their families and gain an insight into our trauma informed practice.

The third of our specialist schools to be opened, the Caulfield Campus caters students from Foundation to Year 10 and offers such programs as Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Canine Therapy.

Our schools, based in Geelong, Maidstone and Caulfield, support students whose learning needs have not been able to be catered for in a mainstream environment, particularly those whose learning, social and emotional needs are complex due to adversity or trauma experienced.

At MacKillop, we understand that school can be a challenging environment. To cater for a student’s learning and wellbeing needs, we provide an environment that encourages students to re-engage in education and supports them academically and socially.
