Volunteer Live-In Carers

MacKillop Family Services is seeking positive role models (individuals or couples) to provide volunteer care for young people, aged 9-17 years, who live in foster care.

Live-in carers receive 24-hour on-call support, whilst staying in a fully maintained house with up to three children. Both full time and respite carers are currently needed

Carers are instrumental in providing a healing and supportive environment for the young people in care, as well as overseeing their day-to-day needs and running of the house.

Carers also receive financial reimbursements to assist with the costs of caring for the children.
