Paw Pals is an incredible program that supports kids like my daughter Amber who are struggling at school to regain a love of learning. Amber is a beautiful, smart, funny child who due to sensory overload finds it difficult to focus and doesn't like to be touched and things can easily frustrate her. Traditional classrooms have been too challenging for her. Working with therapy dogs is helping her to manage your emotions, behaviour and increase her confidence. Amber's work with MacKillop and the therapy dogs has been absolutely life changing. This is the first program that's truly engaged Amber and taught her to self-regulate. Her behaviour has improved and for the first time she's happily attending a new school.
