Fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to make a big difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families we support.
Fun run, trivia night, bake sale, online fundraiser, high tea or art exhibition – there’s no end to the ways you can fundraise for us! Whether you’re fundraising as a school, parish, community group or on your own, your support makes a big difference to the families we work with.
If you’re planning a fundraiser, get in touch with us for ideas and support. Call our Community Engagement Officer, Susan Parajuli, on 1300 218 935 or email email@example.com.
Here are just a few of the many ways you can fundraise.
Join us in raising funds to support vulnerable children and families by taking part in Run Melbourne, one of the biggest fundraising events in Melbourne, on 28 July. Click here to join the team and create a fundraising page, but don’t forget to register and pay your entry fee here.
The first 50 people to raise at least $100 for our cause will receive a free MacKillop active tee to wear on the day! For more information about the event, or assistance with the sign-up process, contact Susan on 1300 218 935 (available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays).
Gifts in Celebration
If you have everything you need, why not request donations in lieu of gifts at your next birthday celebration? You can create your own fundraising page at www.givenow.com.au/crowdraiser choosing MacKillop Family Services as your cause to benefit or call us on 1300 218 935 for donation forms that can be filled in at your event.
Gifts in Memory
Invite your loved ones to give a donation to MacKillop Family Services in lieu of flowers at a funeral. Call us on 1300 218 935 for envelopes and forms to ensure they receive a tax-deductible receipt.
Organise a fundraiser
We are delighted when schools, businesses, parishes and community groups raise funds to support our children and families.
Call us on 1300 218 935 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to share your ideas and find out how we can support you with guest speakers, fundraising materials and more.
Collect Christmas gifts for children in care
Christmas can be a difficult time for children and young people who are unable to live with their families, but a Christmas gift can show them you care. Unwrapped gifts, which allow our staff to choose a gift that truly suits each child, are welcomed.
