About MacKillop

Our vision is to transform lives in a spirit of justice and hope.

MacKillop Family Services, a Catholic agency, exists to support, foster hope and promote justice for children, young people and families, particularly those who have experienced distress, disadvantage and abuse.

We work across New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.

Each young person and family we work with is protected, nurtured and given the chance to build a brighter future. Our programs include:

  • Foster Care and Residential Care Services (Out-of-Home Care)
  • Disability Services
  • Youth Services
  • Education Services
  • Family Services and Support
  • Heritage and Information Service
  • Psychology Clinic

We are an accredited provider of The Sanctuary Model. Sanctuary supports organisations to provide a safe and caring environment for children, young people and adults affected by trauma, and to maintain a culture that reflects these qualities at every level within the organisation.

In 1997, MacKillop Family Services was formed by our three founding congregations — the Sisters of Mercy, the Christian Brothers and the Sisters of St Joseph. MacKillop is now a leading provider of integrated services to children, young people and families. Read our history.
